The Software page lists installed software found across your devices, reported by connectors capable of software inventory (currently Microsoft Defender).

What’s shown

Name, vendor, and version for each installed software record. Like every other asset type, software is consolidated across sources where more than one connector reports the same installation.

Basic search plus Source and Vendor facets. Use Advanced Search for more complex queries, including cross-asset-type rules like “software installed on devices missing EDR coverage.”

Known limitation

The link back to which specific device a software record belongs to isn’t populated by every path yet. Where it’s resolved, it’s shown directly; where it isn’t, the row is marked unresolved rather than guessed at.

  • Devices: a device’s own Software tab shows only the installs resolved to that specific device.
