What BeyondTrust actually does

BeyondTrust offers three core products. Password Safe is the vault — discovery, rotation, and check-out of privileged credentials across servers, databases, network devices, and cloud accounts. Privileged Remote Access provides vendor and internal remote sessions through a secure gateway without VPN.

Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) removes local admin rights on Windows and Mac endpoints while allowing controlled elevation for specific applications. This is where BeyondTrust started, and EPM remains one of the stronger products in the portfolio.

The platform also includes Cloud Privilege Broker for multi-cloud entitlement visibility and Identity Security Insights for unified analytics across the PAM estate. BeyondTrust acquired Bomgar for remote access, which is why the remote access piece is more mature than most PAM competitors offer.
